Title: Editorial: A celebration of Special Care Dentistry

Author: Newton T

Abstract:
As each new number of the Journal comes round, I am struck by two conflicting emotions. First and foremost, it is always a joyful and fascinating experience to bring together articles for the Journal representing the range of activities undertaken by those working in the specialty, including both research that seeks to understand and improve the well-being of individuals with special dental care needs and case study examples of exemplary care. But, on the other hand, I experience a strange sinking feeling as the deadline creeps ever closer for … the Editorial.
