Title: The dental management of a patient with refractory immune thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP) using a collaborative care model unique to Birmingham Community Healthcare (BCHC) Special Care Services

Abstract: 
This case report describes the interdisciplinary management of a 68-year-old male with refractory Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura (ITP) who underwent successful dental treatment through a unique collaboration between Birmingham Community Healthcare (BCHC) Special Care Dentistry (SCD) team and the haematology team at the Queen Elizabeth (QE) Hospital.
