Title: Editorial: new beginning

Abstract: 
I am delighted to welcome you to the new journal for the British Society of Special Care Dentistry, which builds upon the Journal of Disability & Oral Health which served the membership of the Society so admirably for many years. In launching the new journal we hope to achieve a number of things. Most obviously we have aligned the name of the new journal with the new name for the Society: reflecting the broad interests of the Society members. But we have introduced new features which we hope you will enjoy.
